Spent over an hour and a half waiting to be seen. Watched others come and go. Complained got bounced to the ground floor waiting area waited and waited until i could take no more. Lost a days pay. Didnt get to see a doctor or nurse. Be better off asking a vet than going there. Clearly no duty of care what so ever.
No doctors available only locums, no face to face appointments, no triage call backs I've tried for nearly a year to be seen and if you're not an emergency then you're not getting in baring in mind if it was an emergency then I wouldn't be trying to call a doctor!! I'm having to diagnose myself as last year I was told it was a kidney infection and the pain I felt was all in my head yet here I am in the same situation a year later. I really don't understand why I'm paying national insurance when I'm not being seen let alone treated.
Dr had never met me but on the strength of one brief phone call cancelled a professional referral.
Writing on behalf of my partner. Has had very bad chest complaint, constant coughing day and night, in bed for 5 days 3 lateral flow tests done, phoned Drs after 5 days (exhausted) Asked to speak /see Dr, told he/she would ring back, received phone call at end of day to be told Dr has gone out on call will ring tomorrow? Rang next day Told to go for test! Went for test (Negative). Went in to surgery was seen by Nurse? Not Dr and told "you have a new virus going round", told her to go home if she needs medicines can buy "over the counter meds" She was told it was due to her sinus's. (Exactly the same as was told to me early summer when i phoned to see dr about my chest pain, i was told take sinus spray! Again Nurse?) So is the Nurse the main person diagnosing medical problems 24/7 Why can we not see the Dr anymore? My partner is still bad, still in bed, still missing work, thank you for all your help we wont bother you again (especially when we are ill.
The office staff are working under very different and difficult conditions and are generally doing a very good job. I have always found them to be very pleasant.
