Very difficult to get an appointment when you actually need to see a Nurse Practitioner (unable to see a GP). two or more weeks 'down the line' is unacceptable. The reason for putting 'Don't know' to the first question is because I would not want anyone to have to deal with the frustration of trying to get an appointment but on the other hand, there is nowhere else on Portland. The care I have received is good if you able to see someone.

Very difficult to see a GP , I think my GP has changed 4 times in the last 2 years. I now request to see a nurse practitioner who is very good and thorough.

When you can get to see a doctor, the care is very good. I tried to get an appointment for sometime this week, you would think I was asking for the world ! Apparently I have to telephone the surgery at 8.30am in the morning for a same day appointment,. That would be very nice, however, I dont mind waiting a few days. I am sure my severe pain will still be there. Why cant i just get an appointment when it is convenient for me to telephone the surgery. At 8.30am in the morning I will be at work and unable to call. It is disgusting and totally unacceptable, I have been a patient at this surgery for 30 years. I am considering taking the matter further, perhaps it would help local OAPs and others to get treatment.

Royal Manor now have Nurse Practitioners. I saw Wendy today. She was helpful, kind and supportive. Thanks.
