Honestly. If you’re thinking of registering here. Save your time and don’t bother. They don’t care about the patients one bit. They have several reception staff all working at the same time but they don’t bother even looking up when you walk in to check in for your appointment. The booking an appointment process is... interesting. You all have to call at 8am to get an appointment so the phone is jammed from 8am onwards. It takes 40-50 callbacks to the surgery before you get through and then you’re put on hold and in a queue. I’ve never been seen on time. Recently I had a vital smear test booked in by my GP and on the day of my appointment when I tried to find out how much longer I would have to wait (after 35 minutes) the receptionist was rude (I’ve noticed she has trouble looking anyone in the eye at all times) and after my enquiry she said I’ll put you down as left.. I hadn’t left I was standing in front of her. I left a complaint and the manager David rang me back and once I had explained everything all he said ‘I apologise’. Right, so me missing an important health check due to the incompetence of the staff and their lack of training is okay then. I’m going to escalate my complaint and change my surgery ASAP. Appalling avoid at all costs.
