I am still waiting for my prescription after 2 weeks, the request was marked urgent by your (male) receptionist, and I was told it would take 2-3 days to arrive at the chemist for collection. 2 weeks have passed, and have been to the chemist several times. The chemist and I have made several requests for the surgery to send out the prescription. To be told by the receptionist my request would be passed on, and it would take 72 hours, this after waiting nearly 2 weeks. I suffer from macular eye degeneration and wet eye problems and am registered as having severe eyesight problems. I also require Rosuvastatin 5mg Film-coated Tablets 1 to be taken each day for my blood pressure. These tablets are urgent to control my blood pressure, I only have less than a week. URGENT, please. I have heard all the excuses, sorry REASONS, given by the surgery reception and medical staff. PLEASE release the prescriptions ordered and prescribed by Doctors and qualified medical staff.

Expected a Call from the Surgery Pharmacist for medication review after they sent me an appointment and despite phoning twice to see there was no call a day later still no call they are the worst surgery ever

After 4 attempts to ring in a 2 week period for an appointment each over 25+ minutes I just gave up, someone suggested trying late on in the day and hey only 15 minutes but somebody did answer and told me there were no doctors to prescribe any antibiotics so to ring the very same number after 6.30 pm. I did and it gave me a number to ring, I rang and sorry this number is available. Took me 6 weeks to get rid of a very bad cold, sinus trouble, laryngitis, etc. without any help. Ordered my prescription by placing it in the letterbox on the gate, in a nutshell it got misplaced!!! So no tablets big hoo ha to get it sorted. Decided to do it online instead, over 7 days ago and today it's still hasn't come back from the doctor's. It might come down to buying over the counter.

In a word everything. No one takes responsibility he said, she said, out of our hands. People are starting to lie about symptoms to get an appointment.

My husband had been getting slow memory loss confusion then he had another fall which but his head there are 47 calls to thicken for appointment we couldn't get one he deteriorated had to be taken to hospital was transferred to stoke on Trent Neuro ward where he had a bleed on the brain they drilled in released blood two weeks later brought him home yesterday they treated the injury but not the cause !!!! I can't get through to thicken ever ! He needs a diagnosis and treatment he is really ill am at wits end

If I could have got an appointment when he hit his head he wouldn't have been walking about for two weeks with a bleed on the brain we have been with the practise forty years Dr Thackeray and doc Mcgan knew us personally always got to see them same day none of this ridiculous phone business so upset baby and defeated

Since moving to Colwyn Bay in 2018 I have nothing but terrible experience with this GP practice. I was spoken to so rudely by Dr C Close on one occasion that I ended up complaining to my MP. This resulted in a grovelling letter from the Doctor yet no change to his behaviour (he has since left). Nowadays my biggest issue is trying to get repeat prescriptions from them. It's almost impossible. I have the same problems every month whenever my repeat is due. An absolute diabolical GP practice. The worst I've ever experienced by far!!

Sack most of your staff and get some professional people in.
