Takes a long time to get through but once I was through the receptionist were very helpful, I was concerned about a strange mole, they send me a form via text to upload photos of the mole onto, a Dr rang me later that day after looking after the photos, within two weeks I was seen in dermatology, had the mole removed, it was a melanoma so had to return to have more removed but thankfully caught it early enough, so although I wasnt seen in the surgery face to face, the service I have received has been amazing in these very difficult circumstances.

Booked in to have the copper coil fitted. When I arrived they told me I had to do STI testing and would have to wait 2 weeks before having the procedure. I was never informed of such testing when I was booked in and had already waited months to even get the appointment! Not only had I walked 40 minutes to the clinic to get there for nothing, but put me through a large amount of unnecessary stress with anxiety over a procedure they couldn't due to poor planning and communication. Very poor service and would definitely recommend you go elsewhere

Extremely difficult to contact via phone. Long automated message only to then be told answer phone service is full and can't take further messages. Same response each time I call. People are great just can't get to them!

Buy a better phone system or employ extra reception staff.

Pathetic appointment system and rude, unhelpful staff. I don't need to visit the Doctor often, but every time I try, it is really hard work. I wanted an appointment for my daughter for a face to face as she has a recurring issue (that has been brushed aside by Readesmoor twice already). It isn't easy for people who work to call at 8am. Tried to book for next week and told telephone appointments only. Explained that isn't good enough as recurring issue and phone call would do nothing, plus the wait of almost a week just for a call is rubbish. They don't care. Apparently I'm the only one with an issue with the system and everyone else likes it.

Suggested improvements
Cater for people who work and allow people to make the choice of having a face to face appointment - imagine that, what a novel idea, people actually seeing their doctor. Pathetic.

I am a new patient to the surgery. The receptionists were very polite, courteous and upbeat and liked that they stated their name. I received a telephone consultation within 5 minutes of ringing for an appointment. I was able to go through three areas that were causing me problems and received sound advice, a prescription and a follow-up on who could administer an injection. I was offered a face-to-face appointment within 2 days for the latter. High praise for the practice and would recommend.
