Receptionists are taking the role of doctors in deciding who can see a doctor inside a month. An urgent appointment was requested by the doctor but the receptionist's were dis-interested and dismissive. A potential stroke can wait 5 weeks for attention as far as they are concerned. Good doctors and nurses, dreadful receptionists.

Fire the receptionists and replace with pleasant human beings who can do the job.

If my husband is unwell, he has COPD, I can get an appointment pretty quickly for him at the surgery for a consultation. The Receptionists are always polite & helpful as are Pharmacy. The surgery is always clean & tidy. The only problem is Parking. When the surgery is very busy people have to park on the road. This is inconvenient for the local people plus it is a traffic hazard. The Surgery are aware of this.
