Porthcawl Medical Centre is a real wonderful surgery the receptionist are always helpful & kind & you can almost always get an appointment even if you ring in late. The doctors are highley professional & are extremely compassionate & knowledgeable. The practice building inside & out is always clean. Thank you Porthcawl Practice Centre you are all wonderful. I have recently received my monthly land line telephone bill and the charges for calls to the surgery are a couple of pence short of £10-00 which us totally unsustainable for a pensioner such as my self.It seems that as soon as you hear a recorded message you start to pay for the call .I have tried to log in online but it keeps on comming back as error although the correct passwords etc: are entered.reception failed to pass on one message to the district nurse also a month after requesting a flue jab we are still waiting!!! pull your fingers out surgery

I would avoid at all costs, if I had the opportunity to do so. It has a toxic environment and is full of doctors with serious God complexes. They will change your repeat prescription without any consultation with you and avoid any opportunity for you to work with them to promote your health - It is very much a "we know best and you no nothing " approach!

I am about to move outside Wales. My hope is that I get the same excellent treatment from my new GP Practice . I have been with Porthcawl practice for 25 years . Just one mix up with an appointment soon resolved. I just want to say Thank you all for your excellent care and wish you well in the future kind regards m forster

The surgery could not have been more helpful. I have been trying to coordinate my mothers complex medical needs since her discharge from hospital. All the staff from the Reception team, the Nurses and the Doctors have been exceptionally caring. Arranging multiple appointments, home visits and changing medication has meant frequent contact with the Surgery. They could not have been more accommodating to her needs. An amazing experience, Thank you
