I have been a patient here since I was a teenager and I am now in my 30's. I have always followed the rules about giving advance notice if I can't make appointments or running late. I didn't raise my voice at any of the very rude reception staff. All I ask in return is to be able to see a doctor/nurse and some competent people dealing with my very sensitive personal information. The practice have been confused about my address since my daughter was born and I have clarified that my daughter and I do live in the catchment area on several occasions. My daughter is 5 months old and has a very bad cold so I rang to make an appointment just to be told that she has been unregistered because of the confusion at their end and I now have to leave my sick child to show them proof - AGAIN! If I want to complain, I have to put something in writing to the practice manager but I'm sure all they will do is re-register my daughter but do I really want to be a part of a practice who can't be trusted to listen or update my records correctly?! Incompetent is an understatement. It's such a shame because the doctor's and nurses at the practice have always been great.

After 6 long years of not knowing what was wrong with me the doctors here were finally able to give me a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia. The GP's and reception staff have all suffered from my own frustration, pain and sorrow and yet have always been patient with me. They have ensured that i received the best care available to me; even at times when i had lost hope and blamed everyone else around me! The facilities and communication at Pinfold Gate are second to none and I am very thankful to have such a good practice available to me. The only constructive suggestion I have is that they could have had more information on Fibromyalgia as a condition with a long term management plan?
