I am so angry. I logged in on the automatic service AS YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO DO and it failed!!!! Appt at 3.50pm no one came to check.
First of all, all the receptionists have an awful attitude, you’d think they hate their jobs the way they sit at the desk with a sour face and awful tone of voice to you. It seems like they’re actually doing you a favour to be there and help you. I have complained about this before and the situation is still the same. Trying to get an appointment it seems you need to schedule in your own diary in advance when you’re going to be ill in order to get an appointment. To be honest if I can’t get an appointment for myself I am not bothered but when it comes to my 2 young children I expect something. I don’t expect that when I call up at 8.00am and can’t get through to anyone until 9.00am that I’m told there are no appointments available! It seems like it’s pot luck. I called today because of my 4 year old son, he has been suffering with a cough for weeks now, I went a few weeks back and he was given an asthma pump that seems to not be working anymore and I am worried it could be something more or develop and I cannot be seen by our doctor? I do not want to be calling 111 to be told to go to somewhere who doesn’t know my sons history or knows him. It’s not right he is 4 years old! I’ll happily give my details if you want to know them. I have just had enough and I’ll let the staff know exactly what I think
Impossible to get an appointment. I called at 8am was no. 13 in the queue. Got cut off at no.2. Called again and was at number 26. Waiting for half an hour I didn’t then get an appointment. When I explained what had happened the receptionist merely said these things happen. There’s a glitch in the system and you can get cut off. I’ve tried to get referred for specialist treatment and they won’t do it for me or my husband. Feels like they’re trying to keep costs down at the surgery at the expense of patients’ health. I am looking to change surgery.
