It is almost impossible without there being a medical emergency ( they decide if you meet the criteria!!) to get an appointment ! Over the last three weeks my husband and I have had 3 appointments cancelled ! It isn’t good enough !! The Doctors come and go with increasing regularity! I have a debilitating, systemic condition . I should be having monthly checks ! I have not had One check since Covid began . Most of the staff are patronising and rude ! There are a few exceptions to the rule , but not nearly enough of them to grade this above a one star overall

You could try to get back to work like other professions have had to do . This appointment system is a joke and benefits no one but the staff . Many conversations take place about how inadequate your services are currently ! Lots of people are frustrated and dissatisfied ? What most of us who need the services of the NHS need us to be treated as people with a medical condition , not demanding miscreants who just want to cause trouble or work for the staff ! In conclusion I am sad to write this as I always respected the staff there and cannot believe how bad the situation has become .

Not happy with service

I had a appointment to see the diabetic nurse at 4-30 arrived at 4-20 went and booked in at the reception desk, gave my name and said that I have a appointment with the diabetic nurse. The receptionist went to the computer and said ho and take a seat. I was still sat there at 4-45 when the nurse called another lady in which did not have a appointment. I then queried it and the nurse told me that I had not said that I was here.I said yes I did I pointed to the receptionist that signed me in and she didnt deny it ,she did apologise I said that zi should have gone in before the nurse took the lady in .I was then told that I would have to make another appointment I did say don't bother as I was annoyed I am 73 had to get a taxi there and back for nothing .The receptionist needs to be disciplined over this.

I rang at 12 for an appointment the same day. Was told a doctor would ring me the same afternoon. I asked the receptionist, who was about as helpful as a someone on their first day. She told me it could be anytime between 12 and 6. I rang back at 6.30 to speak to someone and ask why I still hadn't been seen to. I was told the doctor was attending an emergency 2 hours prior and did not return back. I had lost my appointment! the receptionist was blunt and rude and just wanted to get home. this was about 3 mins before she clocked off for the night. I asked if I could have an appointment the next day or get the doctor to ring me tomorrow instead as I still had booked an appointment! Receptionist acted as if I asked her to give me a winning lottery ticket! She said no such thing could be done and I would have to ring back again at 8.30 or 12 tomorrow. Service here is unacceptable when you can't even get to speak to a doctor. Receptionists need a new job!

First of all, actually ring to let us know the doctor is held up with something. Instead I was waiting around for over 6 hours. Then when we realised I wouldn't get to speak with a doctor today, the least they could do was book an appointment there and then for me for the next day and or get the doctor to ring me at his earliest convenience. This is simple politeness. Or simply get new receptionist staff!

The drs are ok. The receptionists are disgusting. They will tell you when you handed in repeat prescription even if you obviously k ow when you yourself handed it in. Like I said nice drs. But the worse receptionists you will ever come across
