I have been a patient with omnia practice since 2005 back then this practice was a decent practice I would call it 'posh' in someways but I have seen the gradual decline in services of this practice year on year. And if you ask me this is not about government funding or regulatory bodies the blame is on the management and the doctors they have become lazy back in the good days we had good reception staff who picked up the phones now they chit chat and ignore any phone calls people have lost job integrity

Improve the appointment service and if you can't get some one who can

I have to agree with a previous review that states the management gaslight the patients if they make a complaint… this is literally a pointless exercise because they really do not care. They will actually laugh in your face if you point out that they are there to provide a service to the patients! The policies in place are not to improve patient experience at all, it’s almost as if they sat around the table and asked themselves how they could make using their service as stressful as possible. Reception staff are unskilled, rude and sarcastic and are fully supported in this approach. The reception and management team need a complete overhaul as it’s them letting the practice down, most of the clinicians are really caring and patient oriented although, most do lack any awareness of safeguarding including at least one senior partners who had a blank expression when this was raised during a consultation with a vulnerable patient.

Suggested improvements
Formal review of reception staff and performance capability is essential preferably using an external provider as this is clearly beyond the capability of the management team. Safeguarding trauma awareness training for all staff, this is especially important for the reception staff who regularly traumatize patients during routine conversations, there is simply no excuse for this! Review policy and procedures in light of the reason that your service exists - seeking support from surgeries that are successful A better approach to patient complaints, if people are having to resort to the internet because Ruiz are gaslighting them at every opportunity, something is seriously wrong.

This practice is shockingly poor; to the extent that it should no longer be open for service users in its current state. There are masses of reviews and feedback which indicate issues with consumer service, policy and procedures, medical treatment, level of care and safeguarding. However, there seems to be a strong culture of denial, and gaslighting: 'sorry you feel this way' is a common phrase you can expect to hear. The Receptionist or Administration staff who arrange appointments and review your queries, are consistently unskilled and mismanaged. I have been a patient with this surgery for years, and I am surprised on the odd occasion, when I am not spoken to in a rude, sarcastic, or condescending manner. Any feedback related to this, always receives the same response from their Google reviews too: this issue is ongoing and it is never properly reviewed. Further, you are playing hit and miss with your health care. Over the years, I have only encountered 2 GPs who were somewhat helpful in ensuring I received some care. I am not alone, in being misdiagnosed, receiving shockingly poor aftercare, and being left disheartened by our healthcare system. It is no wonder that A&E is accustomed to people who should be treated by their GPs in the first instance. This practice has deteriorated over the past few years, essentially being run into the ground. If you are a vulnerable person and require care, I urge you to please stay away of this surgery. I am no longer receiving any care from them, and I believe the whole experience to be disheartening and stressful. I do not believe anyone should have to receive this level of care.

Suggested improvements
- A formal review of your staff's performance, including capabilities. - A transformation of the culture - which is a framework for the shockingly poor service. - A strong review of policy and procedures: perhaps mirror successful surgeries and understand the needs or your service users - A diligent recruitment process for your GPs as well as performance reviews - Proper review of the feedback received, and review of how each case can lead to safeguarding or healthcare issues

#sayThankYou

Thank you to all the staff at Omnia Practice during these difficult times. They have continued to deliver an amazing service and have took to the new ways of working incredibly well all be it a bit weird for us as patients. I can not fault the care they have given and they deserve to be praised for not only delivering excellent customer service but for being caring and supportive during these times. Thank you so much you are all amazing stars.

Receptionist staff disgustingly rude and unhelpful despite my cancer diagnosis and the urgent need for medication request upon the hospitals orders. Was dismissive of the instructions given to me by the hospital, refused to comply with them and refused to offer an apology for her lack of resolution even though I had impending surgery. These lot go beyond the normal level of ‘rude doctor receptionists’
