I recently used the "AskmyGP" app as I wasn't sure whether I needed to see a GP, a practice nurse or anyone at all. Within half an hour of my request, on a Tuesday after a Bank Holiday, my actual GP phoned me and had made arrangements, subject to my approval, for me to see the Practice Nurse this afternoon to have my probenecid looked at and dressed.
I am very impressed and pleased with this wonderful service and just wanted it to be known how good they are. The Surgery has always been good but with this new service they have excelled. I was so conscious decision of not wanting to waste a GPs time and this was all dealt with in minutes, thereby freeing the GP to see people with more urgent cases.
