I don’t live in Grange over Sands on a permanent basis but I was staying in the town over Christmas with my family. My one year old daughter got an eye infection over Christmas and I went to the local pharmacy hoping for some eye drops to tide her over until we got home and I could book an appointment with her usual doctor. The pharmacist suggested going to this practice as my daughter was too young for over the counter drops. I was quite reluctant as I thought that there would be no point trying to get an appointment. Walking into the practice, I was so impressed with the cleanliness and the calm atmosphere in the waiting area. The person at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and made me feel really at ease. She spoke to the doctor and within minutes I was assured that we would be seen shortly, and indeed we were but not before the lady behind the desk helped me sort out a squeak in my pram! The doctor was fantastic, helpful and quick and didn’t make me feel like he was fitting me in (which he was). Overall, I couldn’t recommend this surgery enough and wish all doctor surgery’s were like this!
