Nutwood is quite simply superb in all aspects. My husband and I are the envy of all our friends using other surgeries. They can't take in how fantastic Nutwood is! The receptionists are wonderful as they are not only very efficient and professional they are also, very importantly, friendly, approachable and empathetic. All the nurses do a wonderful job too. Also being friendly, approachable and easy to talk to. The Dr's that myself and my husband see, namely, Dr Helme and Dr Allan are first class. Listening carefully, being very thorough and involving us in decisions, having provided the relevant information. No delay in progressing to further tests and/or specialists if required. Both lovely too! (we haven't seen any other Dr's but have only ever heard similarly good things about them too). The Ask My Gp system used really works extremely well. No queuing at 08.00 for an appointment. Just an online message to the Dr of our choice and we've always had either a response via email or a telephone call from the Dr within hours. We have always had an appointment on the same day either telephone or face to face. Amazing when our friends at other surgeries throughout the country often have to wait for 2 or 3 weeks. I don't know how Nutwood do it! I went for an ultrasound today and Dr Helme contacted me a few hours later to let me know the results and the way forward! So Fast!! Often my Father goes for tests and the Dr at Nutwood rings to tell him how he has got on even before he's got home again from Kendal Hospital. We feel very lucky to have Nutwood as our Surgery. Many thanks to the Nutwood Team as you are very much appreciated.

We can not think of anything that can be improved as it's already perfect!

I came into the surgery after falling and sustaining quite a nasty cut on my hand. The receptionists could not have been more helpful. They quickly got me in with the nurse, who was lovely and made an assessment that I needed stitches. Sge recommended Westmorland urgent care centre, where I was cleaned up and stitched. I'm sorry I can't remember the names. There was also a doctor who made time to offer a second opinion. I was so grateful for the help. I've been registered with the surgery for a couple of years and have experienced nothing but excellent service.

I'm not sure there's anything, in my experience, that could be improved on.

Sometimes I feel guilty - the local doctors are so good!! The rest of the country seems terrible, long waits etc, no problems at ours - thanks.
