Drs I've seen have all been great.
Difficult to get an apt for acute problems which can't wait, triage system and they then offer you an apt if they deem it necessary.
No problem if you are willing to wait a few weeks to see a certain GP for ongoing care re: a non-acute problem.
Building is outdated and weirdly set out, but there isn't much that they could do about that without a funding injection I shouldn't think.
Getting an appointment at this place Is ridiculous, i am currently off work due to mental health problems and have been told to attend my doctors regularly for medication reviews and to receive sick notes.
I haven't been able to get an appointment now for well over a month. I've also had no money over this period either. When i have explained this situation to the receptionistst they have been snotty and rude towards me.
The receptionists are friendly and helpful. No matter which doctor I have seen, I have felt well looked after.
Very good doctors.
Very effective service.
Helpful staff/responsibility.
Very clean/including toilet.
Could do with a better waiting area for wheelchair bound people need automatic doors.
Better parking for disabled.
I had the misfortune to be in Barrow working close to Barrow in Furness and had no medication as I do not live in the area and my medication is automatically sent to my own chemists near home.
I found the receptionists very very unhelpful to get me a temporary prescription. It took a fax from my own doctor, three phone calls and two visits to the practice. A 40 minute drive from where I was actually staying to get a simple prescription. Very very very frustrating waste of time.
