Just a thank you for the great service this morning. In the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic I was able to get through fairly quickly and had a wonderful lady answer the phone who was very understanding and helpful and she arranged a Physio to call me regarding my problem. I spoke to the physio just a few hours after calling in and she was very thorough and extremely helpful. Thank you for a great service threw these trying times.

I visited Northlands today for an appointment with my Nurse Louise who is fantastic all the time. But Northlands team are doing a great job keep up the good work in these difficult times looking after us all even when we our from a different surgery. Fantastic staff. Thank you and stay safe.

After years of seeing Dr Tully and only being told to do what I am already doing (seeking private therapy for mental health which I cannot afford at my age). I appreciate some of this may be due to my age but I found she really downplayed my symptoms down to my "adolescent mind) when I felt suicidal. I saw Dr Simons. She immediately referred me to PCLS and got me on low level antidepressants. She's continued to see me and replied to me via systmonlime. I work as a receptionist in a GP surgery elsewhere. I find the receptionists here joyless (expect Dean). They are very professional but in no way empathetic or try hard to help. Thank you Dr Simons

Really friendly GPs who always listen to you and never rush you. I was aware I had gone over my allocated time but wasn’t rushed and was made to feel valued and cared for. Every doctor I have seen at this surgery had made me feel this way over the years that I have seen them. I wouldn’t register anywhere else now. The reception staff are a delight.

Since the new system started both my husband and I have been unable to access an appointment. It’s impossible to phone in at 8am you just can’t get through you hang in for ages. We then decided to call in at opening time to try to see a doctor for the following day as per instructions by receptionist..only to be told there are no appointments available, Thursday we went down again to make an appointment for the Friday once again the to be advised they were fully booked. Tried again Friday morning to make one for the the following Monday [not open Saturday] surprised to find no appointments until Wednesday but would have to book on the Tuesday. Well common sense tells you when we tried Tuesday all the appointments were filled for the Wednesday. Still neither of us have an appointment! Which idiot devised this system..it’s chaos at this Surgery, we left Patford to join Northlands but will now have to seek out another Clinic. One positive point Dr Tully is an incredible doctor but sadly this system lets down all the hard working doctors at this practice, we feel sorry for the staff but please wake up to your patients needs..some of us are desperate. I can’t imagine what happens to the very infirm who can’t drive and rely on their phone to make an appointment..and please don’t tell us to use our iPads..not everyone is computer literate especially the elderly and some are unable to afford the charges to run them. The Hypocratic Oath seems to have been forgotten ...
