The doctors are courteous and professional and will take the time to listen to your qualms and understand your condition, which is shockingly rare yet vital. Good amount of time given to a consultation, which perhaps explains, though doesn't quite excuse the waiting time to see a doctor. Average wait is 2/3 weeks.
The true downside of the practice are the atrocious reception staff, who all permanently oscillate between unprofessional and hostile. They will ignore patients and phonecalls to continue personal conversations and are generally either rude or mocking.
They are not well-placed as a point of contact for a position of care and need either retraining in interpersonal skills or transferral to a prison guard position.
Has to be the worst surgery in London, rude reception staff, you get an appointment and then wait 2 hours to see a doctor who doesn't even prescribe anything. Useless and an insult to our NHS.
Trying to make an appointment by telephone, the receptionist was very off-putting, he was short, and I felt I was a nuisance. When I pointed this out, he said he wouldn't have to deal with me, he could just hang up.
This is absolutely incredible; his unspoken message was basically - you either put up with it or go somewhere else. He did not care!
And this was just trying to make an appointment!
I have been coming here for over 10 years, I never see the same DR twice. I am treated like I am a second class citizen.
The receptionist staff need further training as they are very rude. They employ their family members so no need for them to train.
The only positive thing - I live 5 mins away so I have to come here but not nice place or people.
