Have used this surgery for many years. Always found the receptionists to be helpful. The automatic telephone system for appointments works well. We also know we can always see a doctor on the same day if necessary, even if it is not our 'regular' doctor. Dr Stanley is a treasure and always has time to listen. We will miss Dr Powell now that he has retired. A brillant surgery all round.

I feel lucky to have such a great surgery close by. My elderly Mum and Aunt have difficulty making appointments by phone as they abhor technology but I generally do it for them and think it's a good system. and you can always hang on and speak to someone in any case. The receptionists are lovely, as are the nurses. (My mum thinks Ben is lovely) I haven't seen all the doctors personally, but generally accompany my 89 yr old mum too so between us we have seen Drs. Stanley, Slater, Buckenham, Ruaux, Raschid and Powell. (Happy retirement!) They listen patiently (even if I've been googling symptoms!) and don't make you feel you're wasting their time. Luckily i have never been seriously ill but i would be very confident consulting them.

My doctor is Dr Raschid, having tried by both phone and online over the last month or so to get an appointment with her to discuss on going treatment, with no success, I have finally given up and decided to see another doctor. I just keep getting told she has not released any appointments and to try again the next day. This is not the first time this has happened and it is always extremely difficult to get an appointment with Doctor Raschid. The receptionists whilst always helpful and polite just say they do not know when she will be in surgery or when she will have appointments available. I am really sorry to say this as I have been with this surgery for nine years now and before that through my childhood. I am now 67. But it really is not good enough to not know when a doctor is liable to have appointments free and when they are coming in at all to work. When you have on going problems it is nice and best to see the same doctor each time for consistency and not have to repeat the story over and over again to a new doctor each time. I really think this problem with Dr Raschid especially needs to be addressed.
