Since registering as a patient I’ve experienced ease of access to timely and extremely effective clinical advice and treatment. The clinical staff have always been both courteous and professional, with effective interventions or timely referrals for specialist investigations. In particular, my complex health needs have been monitored and managed with a proactive approach.

The receptionists are obviously kept very busy, and therefore can appear to be so process driven that they overlook the importance of dealing more effectively with an enquiry.

As a new patient it is extremely hard to get through on the phone, however - I have found the surgery so far to be well run at management level and admin tasks are completed in good time and to good quality. Thank you for all the work that you are all doing during very challenging times. Not the receptionists fault: but when dealing with a surgery queue the receptionist shouldn't have to take phone calls. This is extra pressure on the receptionist let alone frustrating for people queuing at reception in the surgery.

A little more resource on the phones at peak times, but a national issue.

I today have once again tried to get an appointment to no avail. It took me from November to get an appointment for January 8th, which at the time I had several issue's to discuss with doctor. She dealt with two but said I needed to book another appointment to discuss the rest as I only have a ten minute slot, so since then I have been trying for another appointment. It is now the 26th February and still I cannot get one. Having visited the surgery again today I was told to phone at 8am each day, this is virtually impossible for me as some mornings I am already working by that time and other mornings I am not up as I suffer with chronic fatigue due to some up the illnesses I have. I explained this to receptionist and was told abruptly that I needed to use online services to which I replied I already do and it keeps telling me there is nothing available, I have checked every day and there is nothing available up to the end of march then it will not allow for me to go any further. Please what do I do?

Have to agree with previous review - Dr. Lacy is the only good thing about this surgery. I've changed to the other surgery in Nevells Road now

Great surgery with Doctors who take a real interest; Dr'sRamsbottom, Lacy, Young and Bollam especially good.
