I left this surgery after a very frustrating year. It took nearly a full year to transfer my records through BSO and an average wait for an appointment was a full month. The management of this surgery leaves a lot to be desired. I had a number of urgent conditions that required attention when I joined them, one of which was suspected high blood pressure. I was told the nurse would issue me with a blood pressure cuff as soon as possible .... I waited 8 months and not even an apology. Add to this the fact that the surgery themselves lost their own notes on me too. I got so fed up and realised that I was the only one managing my care, I left. My new GP gets you an appointment in a few days and the nurses and doctors follow up with you, it is a care centre and patient centred, unlike Mount Oriel which is the worst practice I have been joined.
