ive been at this surgery for years and always for the surgery to be good.but the last few months ive needed more care which its been very hard to get i just get passed off everytime and staff just want me off the phone as fast as possible waiting days to get to speak with a nurse or doctor. i know things had been very hard with the viris but people also need to be cared for this falls a long way short with this surgery which is such a shame as i always found the doctors nurses and all the other staff to be so caring.

just get people seen not just pushed off onto 111

Poor experience with Receptionists. Unfortunately, the receptionists speak to you with very low respect. Zero humanity given by the staff. It's almost like they are putting up a fight every time you call up & try to get an appointment. Dr's are great if one works there longer than 6 months. Which could be a sign to a deeper issue at this GP.

I have been a patient at Moorlands my whole life. In the past there have been instances where care was decidedly poor, however I have noticed a massive improvement in the last few years. My children always manage to get an appointment on the day and I can too if it is genuinely needed - I recently had tonsillitis and was seen within an hour of phoning. Waiting times can occasionally be long, but I don't mind that. I'd rather a Dr give time where it is needed than rush a patient through in the hope I or my family would be treated the same if we needed a longer appointment.

Saw Dr Hendry, very poor service received as had a couple of medical issues that needed addressing, refused to continue with appointment once the first issue had been covered and advised me to make another appointment - next appointment a week away! I ended up at urgent care, who then addressed the remaining medical issue promptly and prescribed antibiotics. I am quite disgusted with this surgery and I am contemplating registering else where as this is not the first or even second time I have had issues with this surgery, needs some serious improvement in many many areas not just with this doctor I saw recently. I would not recommend to others.
