I have been Dr Hyman's patient for a very long time. During this time I've had two serious surgeries and several health issues and I have always been treated with utmost respect and dignity. I have been involved in choosing treatment suitable for me and tailored to my lifestyle. I have never waited for my appointments for more than 5 minutes, everyone in the surgery is punctual and helpful. It is a pleasure to have an appointment with any of the staff in surgery, they are always professional, knowledgable and immaculate yet pleasant and kind.

An excellent practice and very helpful staff, sadly after over 30 years Dr. Hyman is going on long term sick leave soon and may or may not be able to return, I wish him the very best and hope he gets better soon.

I think when you ring the GP surgery - you should not be asked on the phone by the receptionist why you are booking the appointment. I think as a patient I would not want the receptionist to know why I want the appointment booked for and what's going on with my health. In my view that is breaching patient confidentiality.

I have been under Dr Hymans care for over 20 years and I have always received first class care. Dr Hyman gives you his full attention during your appointment and seeks the best method of treatment. Appointments are fairly easy to obtain and under the telephone appointment system you are pointed in the right direction for suitable medical treatment be it the doctor, the prescribing nurse or the practice nurse thereby ensuring you can be seen as soon as possible. The reception staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable and will readily sort out any problems. The accommodation is modern and scrupulously clean Mrs Hyman champions a Patients Participation Group to which all patients are welcome and I would recommend any patient wishing to become involved to join this group, details can be found on the practice website.
