If someone answers the phone, they are always at the sister surgery and have no information as to any appointments/queries generated from this surgery. The receptionists are rude and course when they do finally acknowledge your existence at their window. On my last visit to take a blood pressure reading there were shredded tissues and large lumps of mud all over the flood and trodden into the carpet. Overall: Difficult to get through. Difficult reception staff. Difficult to get an appointment. Difficult to see the same doctor twice.

This is a busy practice but it always feels quiet and calm when you are waiting to be seen. The patient information screen lets you know if your doctor is running late and roughly how long you are likely to wait. If you don't mind which doctor you see you can usually get s same day appointment for urgent matters. You need to be organised, but you can always book follow-up consultations if required. Sometimes the doctor will do this for you while you are with them which is really helpful. Although the doctors are clearly under time pressure they will always discuss your concerns with you and are happy to answer questions and discuss alternative treatments. They are happy to discuss medications and the pros and cons of taking them and give you the feeling that you have some control over what you take, how much and when you take it. Generally I feel the doctors really do care about me. There are always options available of e-mailing and telephone consults if you can't get into the surgery. Car parking can be a problem, but there's not much they can do about that. In 20 years of being a patient I've never had any significant issues of problems relating to the care I've received.
