Today after many years of putting it off I had my smear test. I know for any woman this isn't a pleasurable experience but I was terrified after having a bad experience many years ago at a different surgery. I'm 38 and have only ever had one test as like I said I'd put it off but my appointment was with Nurse Maggie who I'd never met before. She from start to finish put me at ease was very patient with me and explained everything. She's a credit to your surgery and I thanked her for being so kind and understanding.
