My scripts are never on time if not lost ,always medication missing. Appointments changed and was not informed only to be turned away by very rude unapologetic receptionist. Feel unwelcome and intruding on there personal conversations. Overall a terrible service will change practices
Unable to order my prescription over the phone as normal. Asked to attend the surgery after work to request my repeat prescription, which makes no sense with the current Coronavirus outbreak. Get more people to go to the surgery great plan!
Whatever my appointment time, I'm always kept waiting and never get an apology for being kept waiting
An outstanding practice in every regard...
I simply had to share our recent excellent experience with you all at meon vale surgery
My mother was staying with us over Christmas, down from Cheshire and took I’ll whilst with us.
She is old school and only goes to a doctor if absolutely necessary, for her to agree that I call the doctor told me she really wasn’t well.
From the initial phone call when Tracy took my call ,she offered genuine care and concern rather than going through the motions of a busy phone line ,managed to secure an appointment with the senior nurse who again was extremely professional and knew her job. After seeing mum prescribed medication and off we went.
New Year’s Eve mum still not well ,immediately offered an appointment to see the doctor, remember this is New Year’s Eve ,Doctor Armstrong gave mum a thourough examination and prescribed blood tests ,these where carried out and extremely efficiently we had the results back. Once again doctor Armstrong rang with the results at 7-30 pm ! Still in the surgery and confirmed a letter for mums own doctor was on its way .
What fantastic service and remember ,this is not my mums regular doctors ! And a much better service than from her own surgery in Cheshire mum tells us.
In conclusion, fantastic first contact with genuine empathy ,quality senior nurse ( who found mums hidden veins without any trouble at all ) for bloods ,finally first class doctor assessment of the issues mum presented ,dealt with swiftly and utmost professionalism, dedicated to the profession .
We hear so much that’s wrong with the NHS as it makes headlines ,let me tell you ,we are in good safe hands in meon vale, they don’t have magic wands ,but what they do can’t be bettered.
We are extremely grateful to you all at meon vale surgery.
