I moved to the surgery after having problems elsewhere and mine and my family's health has dramatically improved since. 3 of us are under hospital care and have ongoing issues and the care is superb. Understanding efficient and for the first time in years I trust my Doctor to not only treat me in the best way possible but in a caring way also. The communication with receptionist is fantastic and they are kind, sensitive and thorough.

I recently was sent for an x-ray on my knee ringing for results the Doctor rang back saying I needed Physio on the knee. A week later I tried to get an appointment because of losing 3 nights sleep I was told there was no appointments and would be called back. I then asked the receptionist if I had been referred at this time the receptionist went silent , after a minutes silence she said the Doctor would ring me back in the morning. After waiting until midday I had not heard so I wrang back ,the receptionist sorry she had been busy but would ring back, Nearly another 2 hours I had not heard anything so I wrang back the receptionist said they could arrange an appointment for 4.10 . That I attended another GP described the problem with my knee , I asked her if I had been refered she said did it while I was there (taking under 1 minute) When I arrived home my wife said did you get the message on the phone from the Doctors saying it had been done , However it was received at 1.51 pm so I can only take the view that this young GP was making excuses because she had failed to do it and then told lies she had. Therefore I can only say do not trust the service they say we get

I have always recieved great care from this surgery, like all surgeries the number of appointments they can offer far out weighs demand but I have always been able to see/speak to a doctor if needed. I recencently needed my daughter to see a doctor after a few days of a strange problem we had visited a&e and spoken to a doctor on the phone but with no real answers I'm afraid we had to return to the doctors for a second opinion. We saw Dr Hoffman as an emergency after surgery she was amazing and diagnosed the problem very quickly. My daughter was upset and she was very good we her. I can't thank Dr Hoffman enough on this occasion but all the staff here are very caring, efficient, and understanding, thank you for your continued hard work it is appreciated (by most of us!)

It is hard to get pre bookable appointments, but I can see this is not isolated to this surgery & is the best way to accommodate the increased number of patients. However, I have been extremely lucky in that the three Dr's I have seen (dr Tinnion, Dr Collier & a third Dr, who's name escapes me) have listened to my concerns about my health & have supported me in finding solutions. I have a longterm health condition & they have not only made appropriate referrals, they have done their own investigations and listened to my opinion. I am still only part way through my journey to finding out what is really going on with my health, but I feel secure in the knowledge that the surgery are committed to helping me to find out what is going on & to support me with my future health needs. I know the NHS are stretched to breaking point, but appreciate the personal touch I have received from everyone, including the reception staff and the nurses I have seen. Thank you.

I have really needed Meadowcroft Surgery over the last two weeks. The Meadowcroft team are amazing they work together to achieve the best outcome for their patients, a real challenge considering the enormous pressure on services in primary care. Receptionists, GP's and Nurses thank you so much. I look forward to returning to work tomorrow feeling well and confident. Thank you.
