The new Nurse triage appointment system runs the risk of killing patients, often don’t call back until after 2pm. I have asthma & my medication stopped working, I could only get to see a human by getting an asthma check (which unknown to me was overdue) the nurse done the checks and said I needed to see the doc but appts were gone at 9.20am & come back tomorrow am to get an appointment. 9am next day I returned to be told il have to have a call back from Nurse triage but told them I’ve already seen Nurse, doctor rang on the afternoon to change script for inhaylors but not seen me & told they work different so ask at chemist. You cannot get an appt & it puts you off trying. I’m a patient and care for a disabled child. How can you keep yourself well if you can’t see a doc when you really need one

Hello, my name is Francis. I have been with Mayfield Medical Centre for many years and in all that time I have found the doctors, nurses and receptionists to be very professional and efficient. I only visit the centre when it is necessary but when I do they are always ready to give help and advice and the correct medication to ensure a positive result. I have seen many changes over the years but Mayfield Medical Centre has never changed, it has been consistently good. I would like to say thank you for all the care they have given me. From receptionist to Doctor, a first class and family friendy practice which also caters online services. Very prefessionable and easy to access services.

Do not be late for your appointment as you will receive no empathy Good if the doctor has time to listen to you Only go in with one problem otherwise you’ll be told to come back another day Appointments are only allocated for 6 minuets so don’t expect to have a lot of time spent with you
