The Blonde haired female on the reception at 12-30pm today needs a lesson in patient relations she was absolutely ignorant when I called in today to collect a prescription, I explained to her that my mother had spoken to a GP this morning and he advised her that a prescription would be available for collection at Lunch time so at Lunch time today I went to collect the prescription on my mothers behalf. I spoke to the receptionist and gave my mothers name to which she did not speak just walked into the back, came back and said it's not there - she then completely blanked me and began speaking to someone else - at this point I called my mother on the phone and she asked if I would ask the receptionist to check with the doctor I put the phone down and spoke to the receptionist again asking if she could check with the doctor that the prescription had been done to which she flung her arm pointing to a sign and said we don't deal with enquiries and blanked me again. There was no apology, explanation or nothing her attitude was absolutely appalling I then called my mother back and advised her there was no prescription and also stated I wouldn't join this group practice if I was paid to as the service from this particular receptionist was disgraceful to say the least. As someone who works with the general public I would not dream of treating another person with the same attitude and disrespect that she treated me with because if I did I would be sacked on the spot. Her attitude is disgraceful. I might add I have never ever had any problems with any other receptionist as in the main they are usually lovely and do their best to help but this female needs a lesson in patient relations!
