I don't know where to start... I had an appointment at the Duty Clinic..was told at reception to sign in using a screen (yuk) If I had known this I would have taken hand sanitiser with me. At no point on this screen did they indicate they were running very late. I had arrived 5 minutes before my appointment..was still waiting 50 minutes later. Really not acceptable. To make matters worse, I now have a bad cold..which I undoubtedly picked up while sitting in the waiting room. Now, here's the thing..when you phone for an appointment you are asked to give as much info as you can on why you want an appointment. If the person is suffering from anything contagious..even if that isn't the reason for their visit..it's surely incumbent on them to point this out when making an appointment. A mask should be handed to that person when they arrive for their appointment. This would ensure that it is not passed on to other people in the waiting room. It's pretty basic stuff.
