Shocking service. My wife just called 137 times before she got in a queue for 15 minutes only to have missed all the appointments.

I'd suggest you get a practice manager and make it their responsibility to improve appointment availability. If you already have one, fire them and find one that can do their job. Are you just not measuring appointment availability? Are you aware but don't care? Can you not afford more Doctors? Can you not afford more receptionists? Do your Doctors not like working more than 1 hour a week? Sort yourselves out, this is just ridiculous

It is almost impossible to get an appointment. When you do you are never seen at the time of your appointment and on 2 occasions I have actually been forgotten and ended up waiting 2 and a half hours. Reception staff are answering calls at the desk and you can overhear the discussions. The staff often chat about patients which can also be overheard. Some of the reception staff are really rude and when challenged the standard answer is "It's not my fault". You never see the same doctor twice and they range from very thorough to almost dismissive. I am on the verge of changing surgeries.

Improve the awful appointment system. Conduct conversations with and about patients away from the counter so these cannot be overheard. Train the staff on how to politely manage all situations. Try to get regular doctors. I understand the challenges around this but it would improve the situation.

The practice nurse is extremely friendly and helpful. She explained every part of the procedure and made me feel comfortable. I can’t recommended her more highly. She is an asset to the practice.

The appointment system to see a GP is hit and miss. You can be on ‘phone for over half an hour to find when you finally get through that all appointments are taken and you have to try again next day.

I receive a lot of support from the surgery and have found all the team members to be helpful. It’s not easy to get appointments - that is the main thing I would change

Sometimes difficult to get an appointment but i will say they have relatively new reception staff who are very helpful and senaitive.. i can remember when the reception staff were very rude but the existing group are excellent..
