I have always found the receptionists at the surgery exceptionally helpful.

I have always had excellent care. Perhaps being able to see the same dr would help with continuity of care, but all drs are very good.

Loxwood Surgery has accepted my 85 year old mum as a patient having received very unsatisfactory care at Rudgwick Surgery. Every aspect of her care has been faultless. Timely access to medical advice, GPs have all listened and understood her concerns and wishes, very caring and considerate approach.

Only one issue was hand delivered copies of hospital discharge paperwork took weeks to be updated on records which meant each GP conversation in early post-discharge weeks required us to tell lot of information and show photos of discharge papers & medication record I kept on my phone. Not an issue really but meant we took more consultation time to achieve understanding of mum's situation.

Reception staff and getting appointments is HORRENDOUS. I am trying to move GP surgery based on this. The staff on reception are rude, think they run the NHS, and ironically pretty useless. They also make it near impossible to get an appointment

Help people. Give appointments. Call at the appointment rather than a different time and then force you to wait two weeks for an appointment. Pick up the phone would be great. I seem to spend 30 minutes whenever I try just to get through to reception. Send reception staff on a politeness course & also a useful course
