If you do econsult you may be asked for a photo rarely does it follow that you will get a GP appointment not even a telephone consultation. Instead reception might ring you and make an appointment with the physio. It is far too long winded now and illnesses or serious conditions may be missed. I worked at this surgery for 24 years as a medical secretary and care coordinator and believe me it was far more efficient in dealing with patients than it is now. Sadly since covid a lot of surgeries are using this econsult and people I have spoken to are fed up with this cop out.
Fortunately some surgeries have gone back to now they used to be run, funnily enough they are mostly in the London area.
I have always found the Loxwood Team members helpful, kind and working within their limits. The prescription situation is sometimes frustrating and confusing but that seems to be normal for the moment!

We are able to provide you with 'Women's Gynae Health Speak & Treat' telephone appointments with a Specialist Consultant Gynaecologist most weeks. These appointments can be requested by submitting an eConsult request via our website. We also have members of the MIND mental health team onsite if you would like an appointment with them also please submit an eConsult request.
I was seen by a doctor and started treatment within 1 hour of calling. Everyone was friendly, responsive and put me at ease.
This is an excellent medical practice, well run and led by a great team. Standards are extremely high and attention to detail is impressive.

All staff always helpful and approachable. In my opinion we have a hardworking multidisciplinary team. They go out of their way to help with any query and always give the best service when dealing with patient care.
They have to work within the usual constraints of budget etc. but not to the detriment of the patients in our village.

If you are able to complete an econsult via the practice website, this is the most efficient system as these are all clinically triaged on the day, wherever possible, and an appropriate appointment or advise given, this allows us to be able to manage demand and capacity. We are aware that not all patients are able to do this and are working or alternative solutions.
I have always been treated with care and respect in my dealings with the surgery. I consider myself extremely lucky to be a patient here.
