I called at 8.00 on Monday morning and was offered an emergency appointment for 9.00.I was back home by 10.00 .Superb service and treatment. Can't speak highly enough of my whole experience that day .Amazingly efficient.

I called the surgery in a desperate state yesterday as my daughter was having a psychotic episode and threatened to commit suicide. I was put through to the practice manager who told me that a GP would contact me later. No call every came. How bad do things need to be for you to make a follow up call? Where is the compassion?

Terrible surgery, receptionists rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. Majority of doctors don’t even listen to you. Receptionists insist on knowing why you want to see the dr, even if it is personal, when standing in the middle of a waiting room. Moving surgeries.

I took my son to see Dr Amos recently and found her to be very pleasant, helpful and professional. I was offered an appointment when I phoned and we were seen promptly. While we were in the waiting room I saw a receptionist deal very well with another patient who was complaining ( it seemed unreasonably), in a calm and efficient manner.

I have been a patient here for nearly 30 years but am now leaving the area and this is a thank you for the service I have received during this period. I have been fortunate in that I have mainly been able to deal with one practitioner, Dr. Carol Solomons, throughout so I feel that my history is wellknown to her but I have found ALL the staff helpful, efficient and friendly. It takes a bit of organising to maintain contact with a particular doctor but as I can only remember one period when appintments were urgent, I was able to wait for a suitable slot. In general I want to praise our wonderful health service which somehow manages to maintain services in the face of what I can only describe as concerted attacks on it by governmental sources. Of course it has faults but these are negligible compared with the huge benefits we as a country are privileged to have. I only hope the government can be resisted in implementing policies which h are driving staff away and a huge body of GPs to take retirement.
