Total difficulty in getting through. Online form not working as too busy and told to try again following day. Had to resort to contacting 111 as it was urgent and 111 contacted the surgery requesting that I be contacted. Didn't happen. So back to phoning. When I was eventually able to get through the receptionist was unbelievably rude. Her attitude left a lot to be desired and even though I explained how important it was to be seen by a GP in person she was patronising and belligerent and told me to go to A & E! I eventually saw the GP who told me I was correct in insisting that I saw them and was immediately referred to hospital. Once you get past this rude receptionist the GPs are brilliant but it is stressful just trying to get past this particular person who is letting the surgery down. You can understand why people do end up going to A & E as they cannot get through putting immense strain on the system. We are all busy and under stress but this behaviour is unacceptable.

Recruit receptionists that are empathetic to patients. They are not doctors and therefore should be reminded of that.

Saw my 2 year old daughter quickly when she gecame unwell this week and she was seen by Dr Rafi who was fantastic. Very caring and sorted everything very quickly for us. Always very helpful Dr's, nurses and reception staff none

Online request are often unable to be forwarded as " high demand" on this service so cannot process enquiry at present. Nobody there to answer the phone? Have on many occasions hung up after 15minutes as phone not been answered. Also that receptionist ask why the need to see the Doctor.... although the message says that the Doctor has requested this... I will not do unless I have conformation from my registered GP that this is normal practice, have spoken with patients from different surgeries and they have never had to say why they need to see their doctor. I've been trying to chase up referrals from the beginning of last year, one was marked as Urgent. Still not heard from them, spoke with a Dr from the Longcroft and he got his secretary to forward me the phone number to the department I needed, well the number went straight to the operator who then asked which department ?? Finally got through to the orthopaedics but nobody to talk to, leave name, phone number and short message which I've done still not had a reply. Do I need to keep chasing up this???

Followed up with requests, answer the phone and realise that not everyone has online access

Thank you for the great and prompt care I received over the phone from Dr. Ganesh. He was very helpful and kind and diagnosed me fully over the phone. I am now feeling so much better!

The receptionist was incredibly abrupt with me when I didn’t know how to hand in my test samples. I understand the pressures all staff are under but there is no need to be so rude and unkind when people are worried.
