I was involved with the decision making about the tests I would need. I was blown away by Dr Ray’s interest in my welfare and the speed with which she arranged for me to have my exploratory tests. Speed of response is working in the surgery’s favour at the moment— the Doctor calls you back, absolutely amazing!

It was somehow difficult to get an appointment via the phone or website so I had to visit the surgery in person.

We put in a repeat prescription request for one of my children, 3 days later went to the chemist, nothing on the system. I walked to the surgery to be greeted with the sign ‘ no entry unless for appointments’. Rang the surgery at about 2:40pm, 10th in queue, 4 hrs later (nearly 7pm)got down to 1st in queue, only to discover that the surgery closed at 5:30! Can’t get through on the phone this morning because it’s busy, gone on website to make a complaint, asked if it’s a poor review,it takes me to the appointments page is suspended because it’s busy! Click on good review, hey presto! In the meantime my boy has not got he’s prescription, I have no way of contacting the surgery. Never complained before, but this is terrible. Click on

Dr John was absolutely wonderful during the height of covid and lockdown when I needed some support.

The receptionist booked me in for an appointment recently that I could have done online and they didn’t tell me that, so whilst nice to see Dr John in person I used up a space when I didn’t need to.

I wanted to thank Doctor John for her care of my situation over a couple of days. Dr John, after a phone conversation asked me to come straight to the surgery and just fittted me in. She was concerned with my syptoms and ended up giving me a prescription for antibiotics, but insisted if no improvments in 24 to go to A&E. The next day Dr John phoned me at lunch time to check on me as she had been concerned and on telling her Iwas still no better, she told me to go straight to A&E which i had been putting off 'not to waste any ones time' Long story short, after a vist to Epsom A&E and a CT scan, I was addmitted to St Hellier and stayed in for 3 nights on IV antibiotics, due to severe perforated sigmoid diverticulitis. Thanks to Dr John's care and concern I got the treatment I needed as quickly as possible.
