First class service and client care received again. I rang early Thursday morning and was telephoned by Dr James within an hour. He arranged an appointment to see me within 30 minutes. After investigation I was prescribed a course of Antibiotics which cured the infection. I am very impressed with the swift attention and helpfulness of the surgery staff. Thank you!

I rang because I was suffering with UTI and the receptionist arranged for a doctor to call me back. This was done in a reasonable time and after a consultation a prescription was raised for me to collect. The process only took a couple of hours from my initial call to receiving a prescription After 24 hours I was still feeling unwell and called the surgery. The doctor called me back very shortly afterwards. I was asked to attend the surgery for an appointment and after investigation a new prescription was given. Again the service was completed in a fast and efficient manner. I have no hesitation in giving a positive review and my thanks for swift attention on both occasions

Terrible surgery, they even lock the toilet door now. If you are a patient with an appointment you may ask for a keycode, after you join the queue at reception, but bring your reading glasses as the numbers on the keypad are so small. If you are a carer visiting with a patient I suggest you bring a bottle. Receptionists are trained to say "NO" before you can ask them a question, so always be prepared for an argument. This surgery is hazardous to your health, especially if you suffer heart problems or anxiety, as just dealing with reception will cut years off your life. Oh, and the appointment system has been broken for years, but it keeps the waiting room clear. Six Doctors on duty, but you'd be lucky to see more than two people waiting at a time.

Shocking attitude of reception staff who are generally unhelpfull and rude , surgery has fallen apart since Dr Michael Rogers and Dr Will Edwards have left. They seemed to hold the practice togethor . A couple of good doctors there but the rest are practically useless because of their attitudes and inability to listen . Appointment booking is a joke

I have been a patient at Llynfi surgery for over 40 years, during the past two years and especially the last 8 months the the patient care and service has become atrocious, the receptionist fail to understand that your going there with health issues and some are extremely serious and worrying, however your still met with stone faced un sympathetic rude unhelpful staff who seem to be just looking to put obstacles in your way just to not give you access to the doctor or pretty much anything else you ask for, the system is so long winded and so time consuming and time wasting just for a basic request like a repeat prescription, like other patients I absolutely dread going there as my anxiety levels increase ten fold as I pretty much know I'm going to be faced with negativity and confrontation, A smiley welcoming face on reception would be a pleasant surprise but I can't see that happening any time soon unless there's some radical retraining done, Manners cost nothing, the surgery is being run as a business all about profit for the partnership and not about patient care, I am in the process of transferring as I can no longer deal with the unprofessional, unhelpful environment that exists within Llynfi surgery
