Having been registered with Llangollen Health Centre since birth until 2008 except for short periods when I lived else where I can now say having experiance of care with other GP practices that I would never go back. They have office unhelpful admin staff and are reluctant to put the service user first or further investigative action. Numerous incidences of death and suffering could have been prevented by further medical intervention which they usually seem reluctant to take. The attitude of reception staff differs significantly to other practices I have been registered with. Prevention rather than cure only seems to occur with a service they obtain extra funding for ie flue vaccinations Unfortunately they are a large mainly part time female practice covering a large rural area were convenience of locality deters many people from registering else where.
