I've always booked appointments online which means I am able to choose which Dr I would like to see and at a time which is convenient to me. I have fairly complex health problems and I have always found the staff very knowledgeable and approachable.

Add the name of the patient on texts alerts as it is confusing when parents and children use the same mobile number

Registration was straightforward and the reception staff were cheerful and very helpful,gave me all the information I needed and made an appointment at the same time for a few days later,GP listened and gave me options for treatment,was made to feel welcome and was very pleased with my experience at the surgery.

Fantastic practice compared to my last where I didn't bother going for years because of the scandalously poor availability of appointments. I struggle to fault Kingthorne because it all works like clockwork. Maybe the car park layout is a bit tight for larger modern day cars so I usually park elsewhere and walk. The Thorne Road premises are a bit on the utilitarian side in terms of decor especially in the reception, but it is always clean and tidy. Overall I'm very happy with the practice and the care I've received primarily from Kim Rolt.

I had a very helpful consultation. I think the new car parking scheme is helpful, although as I arrived early and my appointment was slightly late, I did slightly worry what I would do if I overran the time allowed.
