The staff and doctors are really friendly and helpful. It's very easy to book an appointment online and order repeat prescriptions. You may not get an appointment the same day through online, however, if you contact the surgery their triage service is very good. They will usually endeavour to get you an appointment that day.

Very friendly helpful staff and doctors.Easy to book on-line appointments and request repeat prescriptions which I find invaluable. The text service for reminders is also helpful when you have demanding schedules although as a diabetic, I would find it helpful if blood test results could be sent by text or email instead of relying on the knowledge that if you do not hear from the surgery then it is alright. To be told just how good my results are would help me plan my diets better, especially as I have been border line for concern once or twice. The doctors I have seen have never tried to rush me and have always explained things to me and have shown concern over any doubts that I may have had.

Very hard to get an appointment to see a GP. This morning i telephoned and was told the next available appointment to see a GP was in three weeks. I had hurt my back and needed an appointment. I had to go to A & E instead. Last year I needed a GP appointment and was told I could not have one unless I saw the nurse first, after three unsuccessful visits to the nurse and £20 or so on inaccurately prescribed prescriptions I was allowed to see the GP who sorted the issue immediately. Not to mention losing time at work. You should not be told that you cannot see a GP if that is what you request. The method here seems to be to offer you an appointment so far in the future you either have to accept a nurses appointment or go to A & E. Not happy at all.
