I have been waiting to see a Doctor. My daughter called for an appointment. They said a Doctor would call later that day and instead a nurse called. I was told to come in for blood tests a few days later. I went in and was treated with disdain. I had to ask to have my blood pressure taken as I have problems with high blood pressure. So she did and said it’s quite high and that was all. I had to ask her what happens next. She said nothing we wait for the results of your blood tests. I have had a lingering chest infection. She wasn’t interested at all. No trying to get a doctor to see me or anything. The Prime minister has Said all doctors should now see patients face to face . You can’t even get a phone call from this practise. There is one good nurse at this surgery who did a follow up call and has given me a script to start on antibiotics. At least she is trying to do something. I feel if you are over 75 nobody cares and they just hope we will disappear!!

Suggested improvements
Everything. A doctors visit for a start. Somebody to listen to my chest. Somebody to take an interest or at least pretend to!

When I first walked in this morning, there was this unfriendly male receptionist giving me a very uncomfortable look. He was not helpful ie. no greetings, not telling me where things were (it was my first and my LAST visit) he was unfriendly. I sat myself in a quiet corner and waited. I then had an appointment with Dr Morris at 8:40am. For the first 5-10 minutes she had a brief look at my inflamed skin around my thighs' she then quickly prescribed me some moisturisers. The itch has been affecting my sleep but she said I only had it on my leg (so that didn't matter much for her). Before I even started telling her my next problem (I had pain all over my leg) She then said she had no more time for me as I had reached my 10 mins consultation. She said if I needed more than 10 mins then I would have to make another appointment! This is not the way I want to be treated at all. I was completely shocked by such impatient doctor. I simply can't imagine how she would be like if she was with an elderly who would need more attention and time. I have now re-registered with my previous GP which I have felt much more comfortable by all means I travel to travel further.
