Kelvedon and Feering Health Centre

New to this practice and have been offered a health check, blood tests and taken 2 appointments- both of which were easy to obtain by calling in the morning. One GP in particular was extremely good. The practice nurse I saw was also very friendly and reassuring.

I have been phoning the surgery on and off for a week now. The phone is permanently engaged and on the few times I have got the ring it just goes unanswered. I am now left with no alternative to phone for blood tests in the morning as no one seems to work in the afternoons when we are supposed to phone for test results

Telephone is almost always engaged - when you get through it rings for ages then disconnects. Surgery doesn't answer their email in a timely fashion and it's very difficult to get hold of them. They give conflicting information about blood tests and appointments. I am looking to change surgery now as although the staff are mostly friendly and the place is clean, the hassle I go through every time to get an appointment, change an appointment or even clarify a situation is causing too much stress.

Previously this surgery has been very efficient But recently the service hasn't been so good. Twice I was kept waiting for an hour for my appointment The reason they could not log the dr onto their system Also they lost my repeat prescription suggested I look at home I spent ages going through my home and dustbins. Went in the next day they had found it it was there all the time it has been Misfiled. Surely this is very basic knowing your ABC.

Ignore the rating on the NHS website regarding this surgery. By far one of the best Doctors surgeries I have been registered with. Everyone I have dealt with at reception has been beyond helpful, I registered one day and saw the doctor the next - very impressive! I was in need to book a follow up appointment to see a particular doctor and whilst the system was showing it wouldn't be possible for nearly a month, the Dr has been willing to get me in at the end of his surgery sooner. This is unheard of in other practices and I am extremely grateful to all concerned in making this possible. I cannot praise the surgery enough!! :)
