After suffering in silence for many weeks I called the surgery at 15h (on a Friday) Dr Clarke called me back and gave me an appointment for 17.30. Covid regulations in place made me feel secure. Dr Clarke quickly assessed my medical issue and gave me the injection that I required; there and then. I'm extremely grateful for the pain relief as I live alone and the pain was preventing me from doing my daily activities. A big round of applause for those working in our wonderful NHS. Thank you.

Nothing it was over and above my expectations.

Had a very disappointing consultation today . The nurse did not introduce herself or her role / qualification. Did not look professionally dressed . Did not appear to listen attentively as asked the same questions more than once , did not have any urine bottles so sent me out to stand in the long queue at reception for one. then seemed focused on something that was not my presenting concern, sensing that I was not satisfied she did offer to send me for an ultrasound if I wanted one.. stated that she was the practitioner so that was her decision. Checked my temperature to pacify me at the last minute and the thermometer beeped after being put in the holder, stated that my pulse was satisfactory as she felt it when she touched my skin, being a health care professional myself her hands were nowhere near where one would feel for pulses. Quite concerning really . I do not usually complain and have a good relationship with the practice and the staff.

I came to see Dr Baker about contraception. She was kind and gave clear advice about my options. Once I decided on an implant she went out of her way to get me an appointment very quickly. When I had it fitted she put me at ease and it was completely painless. She gave me good advice about follow up. She was professional and it was entirely a positive experience. Thank you

The extended opening hours is useful, especially for those who find it difficult to see a doctor during working hours. BUT, it needs more publicity. I only found out incidental to another matter.

The practice is open until 6pm but if you want any information, that is readily available on your records, the receptionist can not give it to you. So after standing at reception for over 10 mins I was then told I can only get the information from a PA and they leave before 5.30 as I found out today. I have worked within the NHS and know System one. So found today very frustrating.
