It's a nice surgery, Doctors and nurses are very good. Most are ok in Reception, one can come across a bit terse. My only gripe about the surgery is its darn nigh impossible to get an appointment, I'm told via phone, no appointments so I'm constantly on line checking and checking, a sorry state of affairs. Then when I see how many appointments missed I get really angry at the laziness of people not turning up, or tounge in cheek, did they wait so long for an appointment that they Died?

Atrocious. You need to get past the receptionists and there is only one who treats you like a human being even, another lady treats you (well me at least) like she has scrapped me off the sole of her show. She has told me before there are no appointments yet an hour later, with a different receptionist, I am told there are plenty and I could take my pick of any time during a few days. I think, to do that job, you need desperately to be compassionate, talk to people like they are human, give them dignity and respect as that is what you expect of your patients. Apart from one, the receptionists DO NOT do this at all. The nurses are amazing! Brilliant. One doctor in particular dismisses everything I say, so I try and avoid her. Again, judgemental and just made to feel incredibly uncomfortable. Thsi doctor hasn't even ever looked at me whilst she talks at me or dismisses me. The other doctors are great. I cannot get by the receptionists though, they are the 'face' of the practise, yet couldn't care less about anyone but themselves. They gossip, will have you standing there for between 5-10 minutes before they slowly make their way over to you and then treat you with disrespect as if YOU have distrubed THEM. I have mental Health issues, I REALLY struggle with people who trea6t others in this way

What annoys me is the fact that these persons who get an a appointment and then cant be bothered to turn up or let the surgery know, they should be fined heavily, 71 missed in October its just not good enough. Its hard work trying to get appointments as it is

It is impossible to get an appointment at this practice. I am diabetic and I have been trying for a while. My last appointment was ages ago. I am at work most of the time and I cannot be calling everyday to check if there are appointments available. They need to change the system, I think if patients are automatically booked into appointments on their last visit, there will be no need to keep phoning and visiting the practice in order to get an appointment.

You can't fault the treatment from this surgery, however it is a nightmare getting an appointment. I end up keep going on line day and night looking and grabbing an appointment quickly if it appears. I'm lucky Im retired so can do this, however my family that are also at the surgery stress out trying to get an appointment. It's not like it used to be I'm afraid, worrying and hoping you won't fall ill and need an Urgent appointment as you won't get one. The Doctors and nurses do their best but obviously there are either too many patients on their books or not enough staff to deal with them.
