All the doctors and nurses are caring and understanding. The receptionists are very helpful and try to solve the patients enquiries efficiently. Only downside is the difficulty in getting an appointment on the day of contact the only option is to request a call back from the duty doctor. And lately no appointments have been available for the on line user if you wanted to book one in the future.

The care that we have received as a family from idle medical practice has been excellent. There has never been any difficulty getting an appointment and both the reception staff and medical staff are approachable and incredibly helpful. Decisions about your care are made in collaboration with you and I always feel listened to. The service delivery by this GP practice goes above and beyond duty of care.

I have been trying to get an appointment for over two weeks. I keep getting told to ring back on Friday because all bookings are full. I rang back on Friday to be told there are no appointments and I could have a doctor ring back. I had to accept this. No-one rang me back. I tried again Saturday but it was closed and the advice was to ring 111. It’s years since I needed to see the doctor and last time I needed an appointment I was also only offered a ring back.

sometimes you can not get an appointment for 3 or 4 days unless you phone constantly at 8.30am and then there can still be no appointments available
