Great help over the last two weeks when my husband suddenly developed shingles. Receptionist Debbie sorted out an urgent message to one of the clinicians and a few hours later we got the antivirals that needed to be started quickly in order to reduce the severity of the shingles episode. Really grateful to Debbie and Mr. Khan. And yesterday one of the receptionists kindly put through a complicated repeat prescription request whilst I waited, as she did the previous week, knowing the regular person who deals with the medicines was away. Then she sorted out cancelling our flu and covid jabs (can't have these with active shingles) and rebooked for the following Saturday after first speaking to the gp to check that would be suitable. As a carer for my husband I am always grateful for the timely help received from this surgery, especially the reception team who are on the front line. Thank you.
I read some of these reviews and wonder if we are talking about the same surgery.
The receptionists are rude, unhelpful and seem to hate their job.
Trying to get an appointment is near on impossible, I've been calling for 7 days and when I got through today I was told there was an appointment with the clinical pharmacist after I had specified I need to see a doctor, I did manage to get an appointment but it shouldn't be a battle.
My husband had a phone appointment booked he called first thing to check the time and then someone at the surgery changed the time without telling him, another missed appointment because of the incompetent booking system.
False results given by receptionist, should they even be giving results ??
The last time I had a phone appointment with the clinical pharmacist he was working from home with his children running around screaming .
Just poor poor service
Staff have always been helpful, and try to give you the best service (especially the receptionists) and where you can obtain further information.
I have had no complaints, even during Covid I have been able to speak to someone about my health.
Thank you and well done
Lucky to have this team in the area. Friendly, helpful; any diagnosis doubts and you are sent for tests to clarify issue. Have been a patient here for many years - and hope to be for many more! In particular Dr Mobin Salahuddin is as we remember GPs "used to be": gets to know his patients and treats them as individuals and not as a list of symptoms and an NHS number. Only downside is that his popularity can make it difficult to get an appointment with this specific doctor.
Excellent friendly and very helpful Reception staff. The Doctors and Nurses are always approachable and have listened, advised and provided excellent medical care. My husband and myself have been patients at this surgery for many years and appreciate the professional health care we have received from all members of staff.
