The admin staff in this surgery need some serious customer service training. They are extremely rude, they cut you off before you have finished speaking with some excuse as to why they can't do something. They give you completely wrong information regarding how to register (they insist you need to give them your NHS number - you don't, they can just look on the computer), wrong information regarding repeat prescriptions (on the phone they tell you to just drop by and they will give you a new one there and then - when you do that they tell you it will be 3 days and laugh at you when you say you were told otherwise). They just have excuses for everything and seem to do everything in their power to frustrate your attempts to see a doctor (they laugh at you when you want to see a doctor the same week, and lie saying they have no appointments for 2 weeks when they can perfectly well give you an emergency appointment). The last time I was there, I was left open mouthed with the attitude towards an elderly lady who wanted a copy of their test results, I have never seen such rudeness. Finally, it is really difficult to call these people up. You have to try 20 or 30 times to actually get through to the surgery - it's almost as if they just leave the phone off the hook for hours at a time. They should really get another line. The Doctors are really nice, but the receptionist ladies are the worst I have ever experienced, on every single occasion I have dealt with them I have been left open mouthed by their attitude.

I've been a registered patient for over 25 years & my children are registered here too. This is such a delightful practice & whilst we've experienced the ocassional blip, any issues are promptly dealt with. The practice feels much like the one I was registered to growing up as it has a comfortable old fashioned feel, where the doctors fill you with confidence because they care. The reception staff are also friendly & approachable. This is a top notch practice.

I was given an emergency appointment late on a Friday afternoon when the receptionists had tiresome difficulties with an on-line system fault which booked appointments. They remained patient and cheerful , and I would like to thank them for their help. Dr Mancey Barrett was also patient and very helpful. When I hear so many stories of people having difficulties getting appointments. I feel very grateful that I go to this practice. So thanks a lot to all.

We have all attended on various occasions- both myself and my husband, and our three children. The receptionists are friendly, professional and accommodating, the nurses helpful and skilled, and the doctors knowledgeable, calm and run to time. (Barring the odd emergency!)

I have in many different areas and been a patient of many GP practices but this is the most superior. I just want to thank the surgery, you are all fantastic. I have always managed to get an appointment whenever I need to which is unheard of. The receptionists are always so kind and friendly on the phone and in person. I have seen a few of the GPs and I got referred when I needed to the hospital and always have such kind and thorough care. I don't think people say thank you enough in the NHS, so I really want to thank you all, the doctors and administrative staff.
