Horse Fair Surgery

This surgery is now very poor standard. I have been at this surgery all my life but I am sorry to say that I am now in the process of leaving. It used to be one of the best in Banbury but is now certainly one of the worst. They never answer the phones so can never get an appointment or get to speak to them. If you do get through they appear to put obstacles in the way of seeing a doctor. Instead they say that they will “call back” but this is not done! They do not do reviews such as Diabetes or Asthma etc and as a patient you are simply forgotten about and the repeat prescription process does not work as you need to chase them up for it too. They never contact you about blood test, x-ray or scan results and if you try to phone them you just cannot get through to them! The communication they give to patients is absolutely zero. The surgery keeps making excuses about recruiting however this is not just specific to them and other surgeries seem to cope. This surgery is totally unresponsive and poorly managed. I never thought I would say this but it would probably be better if this surgery did close because at least patients would then be transferred to an alternative surgery which is better run. It has recently been inspected by the Care Quality Commission and graded as "Inadequate" so this is not at all surprising.
