I have been using this surgery for 4 years and have found it to be very good. The receptionists are all great and helpful, they clearly work very hard and I've seen them deal well with difficult patients. The amount of appointments available and long hrs are really helpful! I have seen two doctors, Dr Benett and Dr Adayeye who have both listened and supported me in making decisions re my health. Previously I have had doctors who can be quite dismissive so this has made a real difference for my health. I am doing this review as I will be moving and will have to find another doctors, i feel this surgery has been a positive support in my wellbeing.
I alway find seeing Dr Bennett to be really great and extremely beneficial. She always investigates my issues thoroughly by sending me off for blood tests or for an x ray. She is an excellent GP and I always thank her.
I have recently seen Dr Puri who again listened to my issues and examined my thoroughly.
It is stressful /worrying going to the doctors and Dr Neal especially, explains carefully without being patronising. I feel reassured and listened to. All the staff are friendly, helpful and pleasant.
This is the nicest surgery I have ever been to. All of the staff are lovely and go out of their way to assist. Dr Bennett is fantastic and a real credit to this surgery. She is an excellent listener and was very informative about the options available - she used terminology I understood and made me feel comfortable.
The standard of care varies between doctors, and once people work that out its nearly impossible to get to see that doctor again. Expect to wait three weeks for a routine appointment and unless you can physically get to the surgery at 6.45am, don't hold a hope out for an emergency appointment either. I have used the walk in clinics more than the surgery until recently when I really need to see my favoured GP who I trust. However, the lottery system for appointments means I haven't see that GP for 2 weeks and I just have to hope next week I win the lottery, despite blood tests and blood pressure issues to resolve. One of the receptionists is incredibly rude and aggressive. Her modis operandis is contempt for patients and the whole getting to see a doctor management problems undermines and otherwise good service. I would change doctors exept I'm in the middle of a complicated diagnosis and treatment phase with a decent doctor.
