It’s too hard to get an appointment and when you (finally!!) do, the doctors are too busy and rushed to care. For example, I had a consultation with Dr. Dan Murphy and he couldn’t have been any less interested in me if he tried! Discourteous - yes; below standard - yes … and we’re meant to feel grateful. I left the surgery with lots of unanswered questions and feeling like I was nothing more than an inconvenience.

Suggested improvements
Doctor care - take the time to listen, care … and if you can’t manage that (Dr. D Murphy), at least have the good grace to appear vaguely interested!

You can’t get through on the phone, you’re fobbed off with online consultations and the surgery’s main aim of to make a profit. This is easy to do when you done see patients and still get paid handsomely for having them on the books. The surgery is not fit for purpose and it’s lack of care is a danger to the community.

Suggested improvements
They need to offer face to face appointments that’s are not booked for 3 weeks in advance and then cancelled.

Used to be very good in 2018 and early 2019, when I gave them 5 Stars! Now incompetently managed, especially in regard to certain serious or urgent specialist referrals, treatment and counselling. Way too much repeated fobbing-off of serious symptoms as just stress, often during mere phone calls, that "will hopefully eventually go away" without providing any medical relief, or specialist referral whatsoever. have now had chronic complex multiple Migraines for eight weeks day and night - they could've alleviated them for seven of those weeks and also referred me to a Neurologist, but instead, they did NOTHING. Helpful reception staff is not enough. Just take a look at how many more poor to bad NHS practice reviews there are over the last three months or so (You can view the very significant increase number of poor to bad reviews in the surgery itself.) Try to complain at a higher level and you get rudely patronised all over again. I gave up in the end and left the surgery. I will write a longer, detailed Formal Complaint when I eventually feel well enough to do so and also file it with NHS England. Trust your Healthcare elsewhere, until competent new management is in place, please!

The surgery is always busy, to get appointment is quite an ordeal, you have to wait at times 2 weeks . The receptionists say there is always an urgent appointment slot but by the time you have waited to get through on the phone there are none left. It's the same with calls direct to your GP . I know they're busy but there must be a way to get an appointment when you need one on the day or the next day. The nurses for bloods , diabetic clinic etc are fantastic as are all the GP 's .Despite having an extension built , and still carrying out daily clinics the surgery was spotless , you wouldn't of known there was work going on amazing , thanks to often forgotten cleaners still clean .
