I would like to say what wonderful treatment I have received from my GP in the past two weeks. His care and attention was second to none. He is at present only temporary, I hope he becomes permanent in the future.

Today i had a consultation with one of the GPs at the practice . A very kind caring Doctor who took the time to listen and explain to me about my condition and concerns although he was running late i wasn't rushed but treated with care and respect . A credit to the surgery and the NHS . I couldn't have asked for better care and reassurance than what I received this am.

Tiresome trying to get an appointment on the day, always asked to call at 8.30am and if nothing left you try again the next day. If it's urgent then a phone call from the duty doctor is offered but it has to be considered an 'emergency'; if it was an emergency wouldn't one attend Accident & Emergency ? It's so frustrating!! That aside I have been seen by Dr Bearpark, he is empathic, professional and involved me in the decisions made to investigate my problem. I left with confidence both in my doctor and the care I received. If only the appointments were more accessible !! The building is old and in need of refurbishment; not in the least welcoming, a hard floor (not carpeted) and horrible plastic chairs, whilst the consulting rooms need to be clinical the waiting/reception area surely doesn't
